I work primarily with sculpture, moving image and writing. My practice mainly deals with questions considering the construction of subjectivity and one’s perception of self-identity.
The boundary of fiction, along with its palpability and refutability, the root of shame, the split of belief within one’s subjectivity, the inadequacy of language and the consequential difficulty in self-expression are ideas informing my recent practice.

I am developing a series of projects featuring a fictional character called H, who is created and played by me. H is created in response to the stereotyped female characters in classical film noir, who are conventionally presented as bearers of sin and seduction. The only thing known about H is that she is an actor.
