Heather Lander

Heather Lander is an American/British artist living in Glasgow since 1997. She received the Bram Stoker award from the Glasgow School of Art for ‘most imaginative artwork’ for her degree show presentation in 2015. Further information about Heather can be found on her website.

Statement

Our perception of reality, and how phenomena such as illusions and technology can alter this, has been a key component to my work this past year. How we recognise and keep hold of realty in a world that is working towards complete virtual immersion is the question my work investigates in the GSA 2015 MFA degree Show.
