Yiwen Bo

Yiwen Bo (b. 1999, Taicang) explores the idea of ‘emptiness’ through photography, text, sculpture, and installation.

Working with everyday objects, light, and transparent materials, she is interested in quiet moments that often go unnoticed — spaces between presence and absence, visibility and disappearance. Rather than treating emptiness as lack, she approaches it as a state of potential, sensitivity, and transformation.

Through minimal and restrained interventions, she creates poetic situations where light, reflection, and material interact subtly with one another. Ordinary objects become carriers of atmosphere and contemplation, detached from their practical functions and opened toward existential reflection.
