My art explores both verbal and visual language. Words are either used as a medium in themselves, immediately transforming into visuals, or their literary functions become part of the creative process of painting. The White series follows the latter in the traditions of inscribing texts within paintings. In my painting practice, my primary focus lies in figuration, addressing the body and mind, and I find the portrait a particularly fascinating subject to work with. My figurative works often incorporate surrealistic expression and abstract elements.
