My work is based around the relationship between chaos and order. I am primarily interested in chance events and the connections, associations and significance that we attribute to their occurrence; in particular the implications of these projections and how they manifest themselves.
Fragments of folklore, occult systems and everyday anecdotes are referenced as part of a ritualistic process in reinterpreting mythologies. Through this approach, both traditional and personal symbolisms are employed, allowing the work to function both introspectively and extrospectively. My practice is multidisciplinary and intentionally fluid in nature, mostly navigating the territories of painting, sculpture and installation
