In the last year it’s become clear to me that my interest in concerns of societal representation from the past to present, has developed a language in my work that addresses connections between new media and traditional methods of sculpture. This congruence of techniques reflects my historical and anthropological research of the representation of human identity, specially looking at the Neolithic Era in comparison and in contrast to the characteristics of modern society. The work becomes an observer to this modern society and seeks to create a link to early civilization, in order to reconnect us as humans rather than singularities defined by race, nations or states.
