Paul Knight

b. 1976, Australia

Paul graduated from the Victorian college of the Arts (Melbourne, Australia) with a BFA (hons) in photography. In 2002 he was awarded a 2 year studio at Melbourne’s, Gertrude Contemporary Art Spaces and in 2007 he was awarded the Ann & Gordon Samstag Traveling Visual Arts Scholarship, which brought him to the MFA course at the Glasgow School of Art. Amongst others, Knight has shown at the Australian Centre for Contemporary Art (Melbourne), Museum of Contemporary Art (Sydney), Chelsea Art Museum (New York) and the Palazzo Delle Arti (Naples). He is currently working towards a solo show in 2010 at the Centre for Contemporary Photography in Melbourne, Australia and was recently selected for the New Contemporaries 2009.
