Often using found images as a starting point; my work investigates a nostalgic relationship to the landscape and nature. Through the process of editing, deleting, and fragmenting images, I am interested in questioning where boundaries between a geographical landscape ends and an internal landscape might begin. By deconstructing, layering, and altering the angle of perspective, I am concerned with found imagery’s potential to take on new meaning while also evoking a sense of loss from its original context.
