Bio

James Dixon lives and works in Glasgow, Scotland and has exhibited throughout the UK. A recipient of the Jill Todd Award, Hope Scott and John Kinross scholarships, his work is also held in the RSA’s permanent collection.

Statement

The islands and highlands are Area 51, badlands of military tinkering, leopard men and Sunday closers. Why wouldn’t you want to go? Whatever you’re looking for you’ll find it there first. I thought I’d bring some of it back to town. See how they like it.
