Andrew Sterling Crane
Andrew Crane is an American photographer (b. 1991) from coastal Maine. He pursued his BFA in the dirty dirty at the Savannah College of Art and Design back in 2015. As a bookreader, his compositions are filtered through classic literature and philosophy. Though his studies and utilization of historic processes he hopes to contribute to the development of a peoples’ history of photography.
Last seen near the intersection of art and technology, his work is shot through with analog characteristics glorifying the idiosyncrasies, excesses, pretensions, contradictions, and poetics of daily life.
His work has been exhibited and collected internationally.
